To install curved stair carpet runners, starting with measure and mark a 2-inch board with a pencil along the side edges. And also 1-inch edge along the back edge of each ladder using a carpenter’s team. Cut a 1/4-inch thick foam rectangle with shears. These to cover the inside shape of each scale minus 2-inch sides. Add 1 inch to the width of each foam. Place each foam form on each scale, placing them in place.
Then staple them down using a staple gun and 1/2 inch staples. Select a curved stair carpet runners mat that fits along the length of the stair case, as well as within the width you’ve marked. Pass the runner ladder mat above the ladder, placing it directly above the foam forms. So that the curved end is at least 2 feet from the last ladder. Staple along the bottom edge of the last ladder to secure the bottom of the stair runner in place.
